Ludhiana, May 7 –  Huge crowd of Congress supporters in election rally in Ludhiana North constituency  in ward no. 91  by Rakesh Panday last night in favour of Congress candidate  Ravneet Bittu  near Sandhu Electrovision Chowk was a clear sign of strong Congress wave , which  was  going to ensure  Bittu’s  victory with  a huge margin.

Addressing the rally Mr. Panday asserted that  Congress Candidate will be given  an unprecedented  victory from Ludhiana North , the traditional stronghold of Congress party. Mr. Panday making  a scathing attack on SAD- BJP for arranging support from top terrorist Rajoana from jail through a letter released by his sister said that  these parties had no respect of the sentiments of terror affected families, who had made exemplary sacrifices during the black days of terrorism.  Mr. Panday slammed Modi resorting to the lowest level of  politicising  the deeds of Army for votes during this election keeping mum on the real public issues of unemployment, achhey din, rising prices etc, which made the living of poor bad to worse. He appealed the voters  to come out in large numbers  on May 19 to vote for Congress candidate  to ensure a big  victory.

Addressing the rally Mr. Bittu  slammed SAD-BJP for arranging support of terrorist and killer of innocents  Balwant Singh Rajoana and  said that real face of both parties has come to fore and now  it is  proved that they can go to any extent for votes, even getting  terrorists’ support. He claimed that an anti-Modi wave was clearly visible in all parts of Punjab and siding with anti-national people proves that they had visualised a clear defeat . Mr. Bittu added that S. Beant Singh and Joginder Pal Panday had sacrificed their lives to restore peace for Punjabis and we, their heirs, were also prepared for any price to safegayrd the hard earned peace, come what may. He lambasted Modi for not making a small

mention of burning  public issues during entire election campaign and only exploitinting false nationalism using the deeds our brave army which was not the sole property of any  party.

Mr. Bittu claimed that the huge crowds converging in Congress election rallies had frustrated the opponents, that was why they were resorted to the so low, even depending upon the support of terrorists and asserted that the patriotic Punjabis will give them a befitting reply on polling day. He added that he had strongly  raised issues of  Ludhiana and Public in Parliament and his performance had been adjudged the best among all MPs from Punjab. He told the voters to compare his perfomance with other candidates who  were  only busy in raising false accusations against him , but in reality they did nothing for Ludhiana and   their own constituencies. He appealed the voters to support the Congress to express their solidarity to save the peace and tranquality in Punjab. Earlier  Mr. Panday and Bittu addressed three more well attended  Election  meetings at Chuharpur Road Ward. no.79 organised by Rohit Chopra,  at 22 ft Road Ward 93 in Haibowal organised by Sabi Toor and at Naseeb Enclave Ward No. 92  organised by Rocky Bhatia and appealed the voters for support of Congress candidate.

Among others who were present included Ex Minister Tej Parkash Singh Kotli,  President DCC  Ashwani Sharma,  Rhit Chopra, Bittu Sai,  Amit Beri, Madam Manisha Kapoor and  Madam Beena Sobti.
